Over Voeden in Verbinding
Voeden In Verbinding ontstond in 2021 in Gent op initiatief van de Oost-Vlaamse fotografe Josefien Tondeleir, ook bekend van The Breast Feed. Ook andere vrouwen en steden sprongen mee op de kar en organiseerden een gezamenlijk voedings- en verbindingsmoment.

Sindsdien zetten we dit event jaarlijks op poten tijdens de Wereldborstvoedingsweek om met elkaar te kunnen verbinden rond het geven van borstvoeding en alles wat daarbij komt kijken.
Voeden In Verbinding heeft als voornaamste doelstellingen om
(1) borstvoedende ouders met elkaar in contact te brengen zodat zij ervaringen kunnen uitwisselen
(2) de zichtbaarheid van borstvoeding in het openbaar te verhogen
(3) de schoonheid van borstvoeding te vieren, te delen en in de kijker te zetten.
De actie verwelkomt alle personen die borstvoeding geven. Of dat nu via kolven is, gedoneerde melk, of rechtstreeks aan de borst. Ook als je de actie een warm hart toedraagt, of professioneel bezig bent met borstvoeding, ben je meer dan welkom!
In 2022 behaalden we zo het certificaat van deelname aan de World Breastfeeding Week van het WABA.
Vanaf de editie van 2023 gaf Josefien het stokje door aan Ann, Magaly en Kim (op de foto van lnr). Josefien zal er wel nog bij zijn in Gent, we zijn heel dankbaar dat ze zo nog een deel van het verhaal kan blijven!
Voor de editie van 2024 zal Magaly om persoonlijke reden meer op de achtergrond aanwezig zijn, en neemt Josefien ook terug mee de organisatie op zich.

Nursing together was born in 2021 in Ghent when Josefien Tondeleir (photographer known from The Breast Feed) and other women and cities joined forces to organise a joint moment of feeding and connecting.
We’ve been organising this event on a yearly basis ever since, during World Breastfeeding Week. This to be able to connect about breastfeeding and everything related.
Our main goals are:
- Connect breastfeeding parents so they can share experiences
- Raise awareness and visibility around breastfeeding in public
- Cerebrate and share about the beauty of breastfeeding
VIV welcomes all people who breastfeed. Whether this is through pumping, donor Milk or live feeding. Everyone who supports breastfeeding or is professionaly involved with breastfeed will also be welcomed!
In 2022 we received the WABA’s certificate for participating in World Breastfeeding Week.
Starting from 2023’s edition, Josefien passed on responsabilities to Ann, Magaly and Kim (pictured left to right). In 2024, Magaly will take a step aside for personal reasons. Josefien will join the organisational team again.
À propos de Nourrissons Ensemble
Nourrissons Ensemble est né en 2021 à Gand à l’initiative de la photographe Josefien Tondeleir, également connue pour The Breast Feed. D’autres femmes et villes ont suivi le mouvement et ont organisé un moment de nutrition et de connexion collectif.

Depuis, nous organisons cet événement chaque année pendant la Semaine Mondiale de l’Allaitement pour pouvoir nous connecter autour de l’allaitement et de tout ce qui l’accompagne.
Nourrissons Ensemble a pour principaux objectifs de :
- Mettre en contact les parents allaitants afin qu’ils puissent échanger leurs expériences.
- Augmenter la visibilité de l’allaitement en public.
- Célébrer, partager et mettre en valeur la beauté de l’allaitement.
L’événement accueille toutes les personnes qui allaitent, que ce soit par tire-lait, lait donné ou directement au sein. Même si vous soutenez l’initiative de tout cœur, ou si vous êtes professionnelle dans l’allaitement, vous êtes plus que bienvenu(e)s !
En 2022, nous avons obtenu le certificat de participation à la Semaine Mondiale de l’Allaitement du WABA.
À partir de l’édition 2023, Josefien a passé le relais à Ann, Magaly et Kim (sur la photo de gauche à droite). Josefien sera présente à Gand cette année, et nous sommes très reconnaissants qu’elle puisse continuer à faire partie de cette aventure !
Pour l’édition 2024, Magaly sera plus en retrait pour des raisons personnelles, et Josefien reprendra également une part de l’organisation.
